A list of Andersonville’s finest without mention of the Hopleaf would be considered heresy. The beer snob’s haven draws drinkers from all over the city to sample the expansive selection of Belgian brews and craft ales. The draft taps change out frequently, but the delicious dinner menu has stood the test of time. You can’t go wrong with the Steak Frites or the CB & J (Cashew Butter and Fig Jam) sandwich. If you’re not much of a drinker, the signage alone will satiate the palette of any design connoisseur. Pro tip: Leave the kids at home because they won’t let them in. And show up early unless you’re prepared to wait. The seats fill up quick on the weekend.
