Lincoln Square

Lincoln Square is like being in a small town within the city. It's a blend of people from all cultures, ages and walks of life. A pedestrian-friendly strip brings a great mix of casual eateries and upscale restaurants, European-style cafes, independent stores and fun things to do like touring Half Acre Brewery, catching a new release at Davis Theater or laying on a blanket in Welles Park. We love it for its chill vibe, tree-lined streets and plenty of things to see, do, taste and try. Here are some of our favorites.

This French bistro is an always popular spot in Lincoln Square. People all over Chicago seem to know it and it never disappoints. Don’t take our word for it—they have a 4.4 star rating on OpenTable out of 1,642 reviews! If you’re looking for a fancier experience, this place is it. The tables are dressed with linen and the food is upscale and quite delicious. The chefs try to capture and express the same quality found in favorite small neighborhood bistros found in Paris and rural France. If it’s warm out, try to grab a spot in their garden. It’s absolutely gorgeous and makes you feel like you just traveled to a far away land. Stay there into the dark and sip cocktails under the strings of lights hanging from the trees. It’s a great romantic spot for date night.
