Christianshavn

Just across a bridge from the city center and sitting directly across from parliament is the island of Christianshavn, founded by one of Denmark’s best known Kings ‘Christian IV’ in 1619. Walk along it’s narrow cobbled streets, enjoy a cold beer by the canals or eat some of the greatest food you’ll find in Copenhagen – Christianhavn has it all.

The canals

Go for a charming walk around the canals and enjoy the sight of the beautiful, old buildings and half-timbered houses. Bring a bottle of white wine and sit in the sun, while watching the boats sail by.
