One of four locations of the beloved local book store, the East Colfax Tattered Cover makes its home in an old theater right across the street from Denver's East High School (graduates include Don Cheadle and Pam Grier). The store has friendly and knowledgeable staff who will point you in the right direction and offer their own recommendations. The space also has a coffee shop with pastries and sandwiches.
