Dublin’s south side is an increasingly good place to be as a creative, with a tight-knit design community that is incredibly welcoming. The streets are in a constant state of flux, with new restaurants and shops joining the classic historic charm that the city is steeped in. There’s nothing better than spending a Sunday wandering around the myriad of book stores before retiring to a cosy pub for the evening.
Labyrinthian shop that sells homewares, cooking equipment, gadgets and other paraphernalia
Repurposed Chinese restaurant that now almost exclusively serves delicious chicken of many varieties
Colossal book shop that caters to every need. Another of Dublin’s constant fixtures, it even appears in passing in Ulysses. Asking a member of the friendly staff a question inevitably leads to a full blown conversation and a list of recommended authors for even the most esoteric preferences. Go.
