Dublin’s south side is an increasingly good place to be as a creative, with a tight-knit design community that is incredibly welcoming. The streets are in a constant state of flux, with new restaurants and shops joining the classic historic charm that the city is steeped in. There’s nothing better than spending a Sunday wandering around the myriad of book stores before retiring to a cosy pub for the evening.
Labyrinthian shop that sells homewares, cooking equipment, gadgets and other paraphernalia
Repurposed Chinese restaurant that now almost exclusively serves delicious chicken of many varieties
A bridge between art and science, the Science Gallery is extremely unique. Consistently pushing the boundaries of what an exhibition can be, with no permanent collection the content of the gallery is in a constant state of flux meaning that each visit often means something completely new. Comes with the prerequisite cafe and shop but the real reason to make the trip is the excellent exhibitions.
