Specialty cheeses, cured meat, desserts and an incredible selection of wine, beer, and spirits, Martha’s not only has a handy location in just up the hill from downtown, but is charming market that is a must visit for provisions on the corner of Union and Lyon. Stop by in the afternoon on a weekend and you’ll likely find their staff offering wine and cheese sampling as you browse. This place is so great, locals joke about the Martha's tax - an extra $3-5 added on to the bill than if you purchased the same items at a 'regular' grocery store (which we gladly pay for the great experience). Pro-tip, if you're looking to go extra fancy (read: hundreds of dollars) on wine or liquors, ask to visit the 2nd floor and check out the best of what they have in the house.
