Walking into Van’s is like being transported back in time 30-years. Forget fancy-smancy overpriced hipster donuts, Van’s is all about the traditional, fried dough you grew up with, and one of the few places you can still get a donut and coffee for a buck. A family owned, Dutch bakery, Van’s has been open since the 1920’s. If you’re there early (think 6am), you’ll probably see some retired early-birds sipping coffee and playing a board game or reading the paper.
