La Casa de la Amistad (Friendship House) is one of those Vedado mansions you walk past that you’re not sure you can enter. Well you can. It’s been refurbished as a State venue used for events with foreign groups, and as a cafe/bar on most days. There’s a nice patio to sit outside and get some work done (without wifi), or head there on a weekend afternoon to hang out with locals listening to raggaeton and eating an inexpensive lunch.
