Downtown & Rivermarket

The River Market and downtown areas are the oldest neighborhoods in kansas city, with tons of gritty history, including being partially blown up during mob wars in the 1940s . With its Location being the heart of historical KC as well as right on the Missouri river, there are tons of walking trails or a street car to take in stellar views and architecture. The area is also the host to the largest farmers market in the region, so good food and drink are easy to come by. Its a killer place to visit year round.

Like a location straight out of the 20s - the 1906 historic bank converted to library is a seriously incredible space. The highly maintained historic building contains huge marble columns and beautiful crystal chandeliers that make you feel like you should be wearing a suit and tie. They created really unique spaces throughout, including using the huge old bank vault as a movie theatre, and many quiet corners and tables for studying with vintage modern book decor.
