Downtown & Rivermarket

The River Market and downtown areas are the oldest neighborhoods in kansas city, with tons of gritty history, including being partially blown up during mob wars in the 1940s . With its Location being the heart of historical KC as well as right on the Missouri river, there are tons of walking trails or a street car to take in stellar views and architecture. The area is also the host to the largest farmers market in the region, so good food and drink are easy to come by. Its a killer place to visit year round.

Kansas City was born on the banks of the Missouri River. The river fueled the city in its origins, and today there is so much to still gain from thinking, staring and wandering beside it. Port kc has done a great job rebuilding the area and connecting the river front with some killer trails, making it a great place to take your bike or your coffee and explore when you’re in KC.
