Mariinsky park is very quite place with old trees, massive benches and fountains. The park often acts as a host for political rally. Thess trees saw hundreds of Bolsheviks die during October Revolution and sadly more recent fatal accidents during Euromaidan: final clashes started here in February, 2014.
