Hidden east of Downtown Los Angeles, the Arts District is quickly becoming the hottest place to sip coffee, grab a gourmet sandwich or shop for beautiful treasures. Named after the residents and murals that make up the community, the Arts District is a welcome oasis from the bustling city of Downtown.
Located in the Arts District Triangle (not the official name...we think), Thursdays seems a little more summery with the AD Farmer's Market setting up shop. The market has a good mix of practical items like salsa, kale, peaches and onions; and those stalls showing off candles and jewelry. There's even room to sit down and chat with your neighbors; if you're lucky, live music will be there to serenade you.
