Hidden east of Downtown Los Angeles, the Arts District is quickly becoming the hottest place to sip coffee, grab a gourmet sandwich or shop for beautiful treasures. Named after the residents and murals that make up the community, the Arts District is a welcome oasis from the bustling city of Downtown.
Not many places nail a specialty like the Pie Hole does. Something as sinful as a slice of Mexican Chocolate pie washed down with a glass of milk shouldn't be so readily available. If you're not in the mood for sweets (then why are you here?) get the kale salad and the beef pot pie for something more savory (and lunch appropriate). If you're in a need of a pick-me-up, Pie Hole also doubles as a coffee spot. Take it to go, or set up shop outside and watch the locals that live above at the American Hotel.
