This quirky 1926 Spanish-Mediterranean hotel feels more like a Moroccan movie set from an old B-movie than anything else. Throughout the Fig Street Café, the Nomad Bar and the Veranda Bar with a view of the pool brings relaxation into focus amid the growing skyscrapers of the city in the background, and ornate decor adds coziness and compliments its sultry atmosphere. The Hotel Figueroa provides us a nice respite from the touristy neighborhood of South Park and the hustle and bustle of Staples Center and L.A. Live just outside its walls.
