Founded in 1781, the oldest of all the L.A. neighborhoods, Downtown Los Angeles also seems to be the newest because of the accelerated urban revitalization and rapidly growing skyline. While we're living and working here, we are witness to Downtown's second golden age, revealing cultural shifts, design cues and typography trends reminiscent of the city's first golden age in city living, speakeasies, sign painting, craft cocktails, public transit and more.
Pizza that tastes like New Orleans.
It's like a visual candy store for designers, and well literally, a candy store for everyone else.
Okay, I know what you're thinking. This is curated for designers, so why are we including a mall food court? Well, TASTE is a chef-driven collection of California favorites, most of which started in Los Angeles; like Sprinkles, Oleego, Loteria, Indus by Saffron, Pazzo Gelato and more. It's the perfect spot to catch a quick bite of some of the city's hot spots without needing to make a reservation. TASTE also has a California-style outdoor dining patio where one can sit in the fresh air, enjoy a meal and glass of wine under sunny skies and still be close to a Target.
