One of the keys to happiness in LA, is finding your bubble. Mine is Marina del Rey. This coastal neighborhood has all you love about the Westside without all the riffraff and chaos you’ll find in Venice and Santa Monica. The undeveloped Ballona Creek Wetlands to the south and the Marina and Beach to the west, gives this little neighborhood a sense of space - which can be a rare find in this city. It’s close proximity to Venice, Mar Vista, LAX and the more recently developed Culver West and Playa Vista, means you got a lot of options just a short bike ride away. In fact owning a car here could be considered optional if that’s not your speed.

Best way to see the Marina is via Stand Up Paddleboard or “SUP” for short. Rent one here for hour or two and paddle around the harbor. Never done it before? No worries they got you covered with private or group lessons if you need.
