The food is Brazilian, an ethnic food category too often underexplored in the US, and after dining here, you’ll definitely want to explore it more. Fortunately because of the size of the menu, you can visit many times without ever trying it all. One absolute must is the Pão de Queijo appetizer. It literally means “cheese bread,” and after you try it, you’ll quickly see why it’s one of the most emblematic dishes in Brazil. The other great thing about this place is that it’s open really late on weekends, giving the afterhours crowd a welcome alternative to the typical late night diner.
