Miami River

Flowing from the Everglades in western Miami-Dade County, the Miami River twists through the city until the mouth opens into Biscayne Bay. It’s here where the river splits the city center into Miami’s Historic Downtown and Brickell Financial District with riverwalks on either bank. Explore the foundations of Miami’s Aboriginal people, settlements of American pioneers, landmark architecture, breathtaking vistas, waterfront parks and fine dining.

This is one of the most chill waterfront spots in all of Miami. Unlike many of the newcomers on the Riverfront that only serve meals at fine dining prices you can get a dolphin sandwich with a side of sticky sweet maduros for 12 bucks. They sell their fish from a first floor retail market, have an upstairs bar with more than enough tv’s playing your favorite local sporting event and waterfront seating.
