Whittier

Art. Food. Culture. Repeat. The Whittier neighborhood is a vibrant platform for emerging artists, family run eateries, diverse cultural influence and incredible authenticity. "Eat Street" (Nicollet Avenue) is home to a gamut of restaurants inspired by Vietnamese, Hispanic, Mediterranean, Caribbean tastes, among others. Grab a coffee at 10pm, wander the galleries tucked off of the main drag, and when it's nice out, make sure to take advantage of the plentiful open-air dining options and watch the mix of worlds collide.

The Wedge Table moved in to the Whittier neighborhood and brought with it the best organic smoothies and fresh pressed juices in the universe. Behind the big counter, you can grab a bite from the deli, get a made-to-order soft serve shake, or a cup of soup and a burrito. Everything is tasty, accessible, and delicious. The space is open, airy and inviting, and it's easy to find a spot to sit and enjoy your meal. There is also a really beautiful community room available, where up to 25 people can get together for a meet-up over lunch or drinks. The Wedge Table is essentially a classy bodega -- it's got hot food, plenty of the basics, and all of it organic or sustainable.
