NoMad (NOrth of MADison Square Park) is the area between East 25th Street to 29th Street, between Sixth Avenue to the west and Madison Avenue to the east. Officially named in 1999, NoMad is a young neighborhood that has a little mix of everything without the dense crowds of midtown. Because of its varied mix, it is the perfect area to find everything low-key lunch spots to high-end dining to after-work happy hours.
Perfect spot for authentic Belgian beer & European-style cuisine.
From the outside, Birch Coffee looks like your typical hipster coffee joint; but their handcrafted hot beverages will quickly make you fall in love. Not only do they serve coffee and pastries, but they also offer a hearty breakfast and lunch menu. It's a bit of a hidden gem in the area, tucked away from any busy avenues so it's the ideal place to study and work in peace with a superior cup of coffee.
