Soho

One of New York's most beloved neighborhoods, beautiful Soho with its archetypal cast-iron buildings has a rich and interesting history. From its heyday of being the original artists' playground, today's Soho is the home of high fashion flagship stores the world over. A neighborhood constantly in flux, new concept stores, pop ups, restaurants and bars arrive on the regular, while some gems have thrived through the decades, standing the test of time and rising rent. There's something to see, taste, try on and experience every step of the way on every street, here're some of my favorites.

The Leica store reflects the considered design sensibilities of their cameras. Here you can try out their iconic range of cameras, buy and sell used photo equipment. The store's walls doubles as an exhibition space that changes every couple months, and the space doubles as a place for photography lessons and workshops. Also on offer are walking tours of New York.
