Midland is an eclectic and multicultural mix of producers, restaurants and small retailers. It's a haven for second hand shopping, craft supplies, and the emerging coffee scene will give any inner-city hub a run for its money. The town itself was established in the late nineteenth century and boasts a collection of historic buildings, including the iconic Midland Railway Workshops. A twenty five minute train ride north-east of Perth will take you directly to the town center. However, if you do decide to drive, an extra ten minutes north will land you on the doorstep of the Swan Valley's wine region.
A little mom-and-pop eatery in Midland's town heart, serving all the classic dishes you would expect from a Chinese restaurant. This is the type of place you want to go with a few friends (and a few bottles of wine) for a boozy mid-week noodle and Peking-style pork chop treat. Henry's Kitchen also has a 7 day a week delivery service.
