The things that make this neighborhood special are the same things that have kept the masses away for so many years. Criss-crossing train tracks. Planes roaring over rows of warehouses. A backdrop of shipping cranes. It's this timeless grit and industrial chic that has given rise to a flourishing community of restaurants, bars, breweries, art galleries, photo studios, and coffee shops. There is no veneer. It's as real as Seattle gets.
The Georgetown location of Via Tribunali is actually a 100 year old pizzeria that was originally in Naples! They deconstructed it to be rebuilt in the heart of Georgetown. The ambiance is lovely, and the pizza is even better. The pizza is cut at the table with a pair of scissors, and great deals can be had at happy hour.
