Cabbagetown

One of the east side art districts, Cabbagetown sits adjacent to Atlanta's oldest graveyard, Oakland Cemetery. Built in the late 1800's, this historic district is the location of the South's first textile mills, the Fulton Bag and Cotton Mill. And like most mill towns, the streets are extremely narrow, with short blocks and many intersections. Perfect setup for an artsy spot with hot real estate.

Wanna have brunch with your dog? This charming restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even late night drinks. Carroll St Cafe is the epitome of the low-key funky art vibe of Cabbagetown. The street-side patio is perfect for watching the commotion of a blatantly one-way street trying to accommodate for two-way traffic. In all, it’s the closest thing to a Parisian bistro in the city.
