Overflowing with restaurants, cafes, bars and boutiques, the neighbourhood is just a short cycle from the city centre yet warrants no reason to leave. While Prenzlauer Berg is one of Berlin’s more gentrified areas, it still encapsulates the gritty charm that visitors and locals alike can’t seem to get enough of.
Standard are serious about one thing only: pizza. The calzone is bellissimo however there are no bad choices when the dough is made daily and practically melts in your mouth. Photos really don’t do this place justice so you’ll just have to try a slice (or 8) for yourself.
