Cobble stones and tree-lined streets barely scratch the surface of what Prenzlauer Berg has on offer. Overflowing with restaurants, cafes, bars and boutiques, the neighbourhood is just a short cycle from the city centre yet warrants no reason to leave. While Prenzlauer Berg is one of Berlin’s more gentrified areas, it still encapsulates the gritty charm that visitors and locals alike can’t seem to get enough of.
Despite the morbid title, Suicide Sue is a place of happiness in the form of waffles, freshly baked bread and Sencha green tea. The cakes taste as good as they smell so grab a seat, a magazine and treat yo’self.
