Fort Point

Named for a colonial-era fort of cannons that once protected the harbor, Fort Point was first developed in the 1830s. 19th century buildings, once used for the manufacture & storage of trade goods like wool, became home to a community of artists known as the Fort Point Arts Community. A popular destination in recent years, this dynamic neighborhood is bursting with activity: architecture & design studios, converted warehouse condos, trendy eateries, art galleries and more, all while maintaining a distinctly Boston historic texture.

Created by award-winning chef and TV personality Ming Tsai, Blue Dragon is a modern Asian fusion and tapas bar with unusual flavors. Try anything from the scallop and bacon pad thai to the Korean BBQ oysters. It’s a fairly popular lunch & dinner spot with a funky bar and a casual, sit-down atmosphere. For a unique (and pricey) experience, make a reservation for a special “omakase-style” dinner with exclusive off-menu creations created by the chef.
