At this subterranean institution, you won’t be handed a cocktail menu, but rather will be asked what you’re feeling in the mood for today (y’know, “something smoky, with a hint of spice, that tastes like Fall…”). Enjoy the large cubes of hand-chopped ice, homemade bitters, and copious fresh citrus—not to mention what might be Boston’s best burger. (And—while not exactly appetizing—don’t forget to check out the collection of beautiful hand-labeled taxidermy insects, resting in glass boxes along the back wall.)
