Prospect Lefferts Gardens is a small and quiet neighborhood in Brooklyn bordering the east side of Prospect Park. The area boasts a lush historic district and has been rapidly changing in the two years we've lived here; quite a few of our favorite spots in PLG only just opened their doors within the past year.
This cozy cafe has a laid-back country feel and a small but scrumptious home-cooked brunch menu. They offer vegan, vegetarian and meat options. It might take a while to get your food, since they only have three burners behind the bar in a sort of make-shift kitchen, but the wait is worth it. Settle in and enjoy the chill garden vibes.
