Prospect Lefferts Gardens is a small and quiet neighborhood in Brooklyn bordering the east side of Prospect Park. The area boasts a lush historic district and has been rapidly changing in the two years we've lived here; quite a few of our favorite spots in PLG only just opened their doors within the past year.
Caribbean restaurants are a plenty in Lefferts Gardens, but this is one of our favorites. Unfortunately, we don't have any photos of the jerk chicken because we ate it too fast. Try it for yourself and see if you can blame us. Mango Seed might not photograph the best, but trust us—the food is incredible. Jerk salmon, jerk chicken, jerk fish tacos, jerk wings, jerk everything.
