Prospect Lefferts Gardens is a small and quiet neighborhood in Brooklyn bordering the east side of Prospect Park. The area boasts a lush historic district and has been rapidly changing in the two years we've lived here; quite a few of our favorite spots in PLG only just opened their doors within the past year.
Zen Vegetarian House serves up the best Chinese food in the neighborhood despite the fact that they don't serve any meat products. It's a small location that's most popular for take-out or delivery, but if you decide to eat in their service is always so sweet. For vegetarians, this place is a haven in PLG, and for the rest, we promise you won't even miss the meat.
