A mini-tour of Asia: Thai, Singaporean, Cantonese are all represented on Banana Leaf's expansive menu. A must is the Roti Canai, an Indian pancake with curry dipping sauce. It arrives piping hot with a warm curry dipping sauce and is buttery and flaky and perfectly starchy—you may end up ordering a second. Other faves are Beef Rendang, Hainanese Chicken and Sizzling Bean Curd. The fragrant yellow rice seasoned with the stock from Hainanese Chicken served in a red tub is a treat. For more heat ask the waitstaff for Malaysian spicy.
