Downtown

Las Vegas was born here, and until a few years ago, some would say it died here as well. That all changed in 2010 when revitalization efforts helped transform the ghost town into a thriving urban core. Now it's home to a new crop of creative twenty and thirty-somethings who work hard by day and indulge in the food, drink, and live music offerings by night. One of Las Vegas' truly bikeable areas, downtown is a great place to go for a spin.

A legit record store that sells vinyl, not discs. Check out everything from the nicely treated vintage wax (no abused junk here), to new releases, imports, and reissues that grace their wall of fame. Spend $4 on a gently used Jimmy Cliff greatest hits album, or $400 for that original pressing Joy Division. If it's on wax, they've got it. You can listen to anything at the listening station in the corner, and if you happen to play music, check out the professional analog recording studio in the back of the store.
