Sunspel’s philosophy — to make simple, everyday clothing from beautiful fabrics — remains the same since Thomas A. Hill founded the company in 1860. They make their clothes from their original Nottinghamshire factory, from which they were the first to introduce boxer shorts to the UK, and recently reintroduced a line in the coveted fabric Sea Island Cotton — soft, light and compact, it’s cashmere’s lithe cousin but without the washing worries.
