Koreatown is one of LA's most densely and diversely populated neighborhoods; historically home to mostly Korean and Latino immigrants whose cultural influence pervades the three-square mile, palm tree-lined expanse. After recovering from the LA riots in the '90s, K-town has become one of the city’s hippest areas thanks to its rich architectural heritage, exceptional eats and vibrant nightlife.

If you're looking to catch live music, the Wiltern is the best venue in the neighborhood. Housed inside Koreatown's iconic Pellisier building (known for it's historic art deco interior and iodized blue steel architecture), roll up to this spacious, old school theater to catch some comedy or a concert. It's 81 years young and always serving up something interesting, though the Wiltern mainly features pop and rock bands within its legendary walls.
