East Nashville

Home to some of the best hot chicken in town, East Nashville’s old soul glows brighter by the day. Your taste buds (and human buds) can always enjoy some fired-up bird, plus some of the best chef-made cuisine, casual fare and bar life East of the Cumberland River. Forever ragtag, Easty has become the popular kid while holding onto her gritty, vibe-y charm—and the promise of showing all a damn good time.

This shop got its humble start in a gutted 1954 camper that cruised around Nashville, show-and-telling its way to notoriety. Little by little owner Kimberly Parker outgrew her mother ship, eventually parking her wares permanently inside her current East Nash storefront, a shop-packed block where she’s always in good company. Speaking of good(s), most of hers are made in the USA. Go in expecting fine perfumes and beauty products alongside lovely threads, each collection inspired by the sea, desert, forest or field. If good smells and great stitches are what you seek, venture no further.
