The Johnny Cash Museum is quite literally the museum in black. The tour is dark lit, but the features are so bright and attractive. Cash's life is displayed eloquently through the small space, really allowing an emotional connection unlike any other museum I have experienced. The journey of Johnny Cash and June Carter is shared in such detail with interactive viewing platforms and constant video threads in multiple showcased rooms. You can even take a picture of the Man in Black himself! The museum is just off the downtown Broadway strip. As you walk in the door, there is a cafe with coffee and food available on the left and loads of Johnny Cash swag to the right. The insane custom chopper that sits in the store front window is not for sale. I checked.
