Nestled between Pioneer Square and the Central District, the Chinatown-International District or "The I.D." (as locals say) is a richly historic neighborhood with gems both culinary and cultural around just about every corner. Its three distinct neighborhoods of Chinatown, Japantown and Little Saigon comprise the center of Seattle's Asian American community. Walking in here in the morning is a full assault on the senses, the sweet and savory pastries at Fuji could tempt even the most devoted Atkins Diet or Gluten-free disciple. Three words: beef curry bun.
