Nestled between Pioneer Square and the Central District, the Chinatown-International District or "The I.D." (as locals say) is a richly historic neighborhood with gems both culinary and cultural around just about every corner. Its three distinct neighborhoods of Chinatown, Japantown and Little Saigon comprise the center of Seattle's Asian American community. While many only venture in on weekends for late-night karaoke or recovery dim sum, it has a ton to offer all week long if you're curious enough to find it.
Seoul Tofu House is a recent discovery and we've enjoyed its classic Korean dishes including hot stone bibimbap and tofu soup—both, both which come to the table mouth-scorching hot. Crack a raw egg and watch it cook in seconds, just don't touch the bowl.
