Nestled between Pioneer Square and the Central District, the Chinatown-International District or "The I.D." (as locals say) is a richly historic neighborhood with gems both culinary and cultural around just about every corner. Its three distinct neighborhoods of Chinatown, Japantown and Little Saigon comprise the center of Seattle's Asian American community. While many only venture in on weekends for late-night karaoke or recovery dim sum, it has a ton to offer all week long if you're curious enough to find it.
Thai Curry Simple is hands down our favorite lunch spot for something good and fast. Don't let the run-down exterior deter you, this place is busy for a reason. Get the Pad See Ew, it's amazing. If you order the daily curry, it will be ready in about 30 seconds.
