The Mother Road (aka Route 66) once passed through St. Louis, bringing with it a love of travel for travel’s sake. Enter the Triumph Grill, a restaurant complex (along with the Moto Museum and Moto Europa Triumph/Ducati dealership) as different from a biker bar as “motorcycling” is from being part of a biker gang. The Triumph Grill features a blend of thoughtful incorporation of motorcycle culture: vintage advertising on the walls, parts and pieces of bikes as décor and lighting fixtures, and a private room for events and meetings with two vintage bikes racing across the ceiling. It would be an excellent place to host clients for lunch or dinner, and has an event space to accommodate up to 50 people for standing cocktail parties. Some menu items are whimsically named after motorcycles: the Monster, the Scrambler, the Panigale. The tempura asparagus was a delightful appetizer to share, and they have a full bar to accommodate any happy hour event.
