Pyrmont has come a long way since it’s early days in Sydney’s history. It used to be a working class suburb and in the early 19th Century it was even considered a slum. Not anymore. It’s now a cultural hot spot full of fancy restaurants, creative agencies, awesome pubs and the Star – Sydney’s only casino… for now. Pyrmont is an old suburb that’s received a bit of a face-lift and it’s well worth a look around.
Culture At Work blends Art and Science into the perfect balance of visual and cognitive stimuli.
Do you like crepes? We do.
THE place to go in Pyrmont for any carnivore is Vics Meats smokehouse at the Fish Markets. There’s not a scale or dorsal fin in sight, just meat, meat, or, meat. Their uncomplicated menu is full of smoky delights. We recommend the Brisket and Pulled Pork sandwiches served with home made slaw and bbq sauce, all washed down with a Young Henry’s beer. Ahhh!
