Schöneweide

Though not one of Berlin’s most visited tourist spots, Schöneweide, a district located a 30 minute train ride south east of the city center, is definitely worth a visit. Especially those who are into design and architecture will enjoy this corner of Berlin. You can spot famous industrial architecture, homes to experimental art, design workshops and co-working spaces within a genuine urban neighbourhood where gentrification barely happened yet. It’s no surprise that even internationally renowned artists like Ai-Weiwei have been looking for space in Schöneweide.

The BETT is a place for creative work, for exchange and cooperation. A place to learn from each other and work together. A place for people with passion for what they do. This student-organized creative co-working space in Berlin Schöneweide resides in a house that is 100-years old, a former Weißbier brewery with 260 square meters and 4 floors. With Grill-tried yard and garden. 5 minutes to the HTW University, tram stop right outside the front door. A house with quirks and character, a place with a lot of scope for participation. Make sure to check out their weekly “Bettwoch” after-work get-togethers. The BETT is also one of the many friends of our design-office sehen und ernten in the local area.
