Schöneweide

Though not one of Berlin’s most visited tourist spots, Schöneweide, a district located a 30 minute train ride south east of the city center, is definitely worth a visit. Especially those who are into design and architecture will enjoy this corner of Berlin. You can spot famous industrial architecture, homes to experimental art, design workshops and co-working spaces within a genuine urban neighbourhood where gentrification barely happened yet. It’s no surprise that even internationally renowned artists like Ai-Weiwei have been looking for space in Schöneweide.

When design-students come together to work to handle real jobs and to practice creative exchange, it results in a student design network with lots of room for innovative design approaches and new solutions. In cooperation with the HTW Berlin and with the help of a large pool of experts we have made it to our mission to gather knowledge and share experience. But above all we want to discover new horizons and create functioning design solutions.
