One of the sweetest, most tight-knit communities in the 718. Prospect Heights has seen much change in its time, which is visible in the architecture alone - the streets are lined with a mix of beautiful historic rowhouses and new luxury condos. Though small in size, it holds two of the borough’s largest institutions - the BK Museum and the BK Public Library - as well as the Barclays Center, home to the NBA's Brooklyn Nets. Over the past 15 years, we’ve witnessed the resurgence of restaurants, nightlife and shops, putting Prospect Heights on the grid as a beloved Brooklyn destination.
High-quality, tasty coffee and pastries in an airy, elegant space.
If we could eat ice cream everyday we would. And Blue Marble might possibly have something to do with it. This Brooklyn-based company churns rich, yet delicate and subtle flavors that taste like “mmmmmm”. A year after crafting their ice cream, owners Alexis and Jennie also founded a non-profit called Blue Marble Dreams, with a mission to “build ice cream shops with women in areas recovering from conflict or natural disaster". They believe that “these sweet, small enterprises can help revive both the spirit and the economy of a community”, and we think that’s pretty awesome.
