Step south of Oxford Street to explore the independent boutiques and cafés of London’s original creative hub, still home to many media companies. This restaurant has a simple, monochrome interior with tiled features and teak chairs, and an open kitchen at the back. There's a daily changing menu with specials chalked up on a blackboard, and the food is seriously delicious (if the burrata is on the menu, have it). No bookings so be prepared to queue.
