Step south of Oxford Street to explore the independent boutiques and cafés of London’s original creative hub, still home to many media companies. But it is constantly evolving, with new shops and restaurants opening frequently, making it a lively and dynamic neighbourhood.
Gosh! is a brilliant comic shop catering to a broad range of tastes. At street level it's spacious and welcoming and has a fantastic selection of books and graphic novels, as well as small-run and handmade zines. Lots of stock is displayed on tables, showing off the covers. Then head down to the basement for the proper comics.
