Mar Vista is what you may have called an "up & coming" neighborhood a few years ago. Centrally located between Venice and Culver City, it is a great community with a lot of fresh, unique stuff going on and a growing creative population. We're proud to call it our home and are stoked on all the awesomeness within walking distance to our design studio.
Sam: Johnson's is a quaint shop filled with curated classic books. The founders say they wanted to create "a place of culture and wondrous surprise" for all. The shop smells like it should (old paper), and offers visual delights hidden throughout the shelves. Come in and browse all the while pretending that you might run into Slimer in the basement (there's no basement).
