Mar Vista is what you may have called an "up & coming" neighborhood a few years ago. Centrally located between Venice and Culver City, it is a great community with a lot of fresh, unique stuff going on and a growing creative population. Surfing Cowboys is a classic Venice staple that's now planted roots in Mar Vista. Though surf culture runs heavy in their blood, these aficionados have many other treasures as well. Specializing in a true California lifestyle, they collect vintage surf memorabilia, mid-century modern artifacts and other curated Hawaiiana and southwestern goods. Part California heritage museum, part niche vintage store, Surfing Cowboys is a must see shopping destination when visiting Mar Vista.
